l have my gcse mock mock speaking test tomorrow, and for that l need to be able to say that l ate French food. l can say that, but the problem is that l dont know what French food to eat!!!! l need the names of a few traditonal french dishes that l might have eaten for dinner in a restaurant!!!!

Here r some French dishes that u might be able to find even if you're not in France, so they would not be that unbelievable to have had for dinner:

Main course:
Soupe a l'oignon au fromage (french onion soup)
Soufflé au fromage (cheese soufflé)
Coq au vin (chicken cooked in wine sauce)
Steak frites (steak & fries)
Poulet frites (chicken & fries)
Quiche Lorraine (quiche with eggs & bacon, no cheese)
Boeuf Bourguignon (beef stewed in red wine)
Bouillabaisse (fish soup)

Side or Appetizer:
Baguette (long bread - most other bread is known as le pain)
L'haricot vert (green bean)
le champignon (mushroom)
la pomme de terre (potato)
Pommes Frites (french fries)
le croissant (croissant)
les pâtes (pasta)
la confiture (jam)

Dessert:
Éclairs
Gâteaux du chocolat (chocolate cake)
Crème Brûlée
Mousse au chocolate (chocolate mousse)
